THE POINT OF VIEW
A strong visual direction should make the next decision easier.

BRIEF / DECISIONS / DELIVERY

01Concept study 001

Light, material and movement.

An original study in how translucent layers, sharp contrast and quiet architectural lines can inform a wedding atmosphere.

Atelier role: concept narrative, reference edit, material direction and priorities for supplier briefing. This is a concept study, not a completed client event.

02The useful output

References become a working brief.

A concept can guide palette, flowers, paper, lighting, layout and guest-facing details. The agreed brief identifies which decisions it covers, the revisions included and who will carry it into production.

03Publication

Permission and authorship stay visible.

Completed celebrations appear only where publication is authorized. Concept studies remain clearly identified as studies. Inspiration imagery is never presented as evidence that the Atelier produced another person’s event.

The Twelve-Seat Table.

Brief: six client couples at one shared table, with no presentation and no product conversation. The menu moves from a passed first bite to a family-style main and a plated fruit-and-cream dessert, giving the host natural moments to move through the room without interrupting dinner.

Seating chart: spouses sit beside people they do not already know, and each advisor is placed near the spouse they know less well. Place cards use first names only. Sample follow-up note: “It was such a pleasure to hear about the garden you are rebuilding. Maeve saved the chef’s herb list for you; I hope it gives you a few ideas for spring.”

05Concept study 003 · Wealth firms

The Owners’ Oyster Supper.

Brief: business-owner clients and their successors around a fire, with one family-business owner telling how responsibility changed hands. Run of show: welcome and drinks, oyster opening, seated supper, a fifteen-minute story, dessert by the fire, and a personal send-off.

Working vendor list: an insured venue, licensed caterer and beverage team, oyster provider, rentals, florals, lighting, transport and weather cover. Every estimate keeps the advisor’s production fee separate from vendor costs.

06Concept study 004 · Family offices

The Annual Family Supper.

Brief: a recurring gathering for grandparents, adult children and younger family members. The floor plan keeps one long family table at the center, with a quieter lounge and a children’s table close enough to feel included without controlling the adults’ pacing.

Children’s table plan: age-banded places, family-story prompt cards, an art activity tied to the family’s home or garden, early food service and a named childcare lead. The plan identifies who approves, who receives updates and which guest details are genuinely needed.

DIRECT ANSWERS

What people ask first.

01

Can creative direction be purchased alone?

Yes. A standalone brief can be quoted around defined outputs, meetings and revisions.

02

Does a concept include production?

Not automatically. Purchasing, fabrication, supplier management, installation and onsite styling are assigned separately.

03

Will every client event appear here?

No. Publication is a separate permission decision and is never required.
